Coach
Falcone!!!!
I visit www.USAmateurBoxingCoaches.com regularly. I wish to thank you again for providing a place for coaches to express their opinions. While coaches have responded, I think that more of them should. But my true concern here is with the responses you have been receiving from, if you will, "the powers that be", namely A.I.B.A.It appears that you are being "snowballed" as far as getting an answer to your question as to why personal coaches cannot work their boxers corners during such competitions as the Olympic Games and the Pan Am Games. You have repeatedly asked for the specfic rule or by-law which prohibits coaches from working their boxers corners in these competitions. And repeatedly, you not only receive vague replies, it seems to take an unbelievable amount of time to get these replies as well. That concerns me, as these representatives should be willing to divulge this information. Coaches such as you, who have had their boxers reach this level of competion, deserve an answer.Coach Falcone, I want to thank you for providing this site for the expression of opinions. I wish you all the best in this endeavor and I shall continue to be a regular visitor to www.USAmateurBoxingCoaches.com. John Pinto |
